Rice bran

Stabilised rice bran with crude fat minimum 15%, crude protein 12 to 14%, crude fibre maximum 13% and moisture maximum 10%. Available loose or pelletised. Minimum order 25 MT in 50 kg PP bags or bulk. HS code 2302.20. The high fat content makes this an energy ingredient, suited to poultry, cattle and aquaculture rations where metabolisable energy is the constraint.

De-oiled rice bran (DORB)

Post-extraction defatted rice bran cake with crude protein minimum 14%, crude fat maximum 2%, silica maximum 14% and moisture maximum 10%. Minimum order 25 MT in 50 kg bags or bulk. HS code 2306.90. With the oil removed, DORB is a protein and fibre carrier rather than an energy source, and the low residual fat gives it a longer shelf life than raw bran - which matters on longer sea freight routes.

Silica content is the specification buyers most often overlook and the one most likely to cause a rejection at destination, so state your ceiling when you enquire. Feed consignments are tested for crude protein, crude fat, crude fibre, moisture, silica content and energy value before dispatch.
